One way in doing this is to measure the environmental impact of our processes and products, as well as the awareness of the impact of our production.

Since 2016, MDV has begun to weigh and measure its environmental impact with the Life Cycle Assessment (ISO 14040- 44:2006) by adopting what the EU Commission foster: the Organisation Environmental Footprint (OEF) and the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF). In doing this, we’re at the forefront of the environmental performance analysis, based on a scientific tool, and we’re the first winery in Europe to embrace the EU green policy.
